Logo & taglineOverview

The logo is the only symbol of the ZEISS Brand. Additional logos, such as for business units, products, or events, are prohibited. The tagline, Seeing beyond, is the condensed version of the ZEISS Brand Essence: Seeing beyond – enabling you to realize ambitions.

Note on the use of signets and typography solutions:
In certain cases, a signet or a typography solution can be used (guidelines). Learn more about our Brand Management Principles.

The ZEISS Logo may only be used by business partners, dealers, or licensees with the consent of Carl Zeiss AG.

  • ZEISS is a Branded House – there is only one logo.

  • The tagline, Seeing beyond, is a central component of the brand and is generally used in external communication. The use of the tagline in internal communication is optional.

  • The ZEISS Wordmark can be used instead of the logo if the logo is too small or unreadable.

Yes, the wordmark has been updated and is based on ZEISS Text Bold.

Yes, that is ok. We can use physical material indefinitely if we had the license for Frutiger at the time of production. So there is no expiration date for material that has already been produced. With our rolling change approach, we can't avoid a transition phase where we have material in the old and new design at the same time on the market.
